One of the great truths of the Christian life is “it isn’t up to you to figure it all out”. Those personal questions about marriage, college, children and the like are not yours to solve. You have died to your pride that you can do everything by yourself and given your life to Jesus Christ. It is He, through the power of the Holy Spirit in you that will guide you into all truth and wisdom for decisions for your life. You won’t always like the situations you find yourself in and some of your prayers will not seem to be answered as you would want them, but when I think about it, I am very glad that God did not always answer many of my prayers the way I wanted. ~ John Disterick
